How to Install Your Customer Display

Connect Your Customer Display to Wi-Fi

First, make sure your customer display is connected to Wi-Fi. Follow the steps here to connect your device.

Open the OctoCDS Application

Once connected to Wi-Fi, open the OctoCDS application on the customer tablet.

Access the Settings Page

When the CDS screen appears, tap the OctoPOS logo 8 times to access the settings page and note the IP address.

Note : The IP address will be used to connect to the POS.

Configure the Cashier's Tablet

Open the OctoPOS Application

On the cashier's tablet, open the OctoPOS application.

Log In and Access the Menu

Once logged in, go to the menu.

Update Settings

Select "Update Settings" from the menu.

Enter the Customer Display IP Address

Scroll down to the "Customer Display" section and enter the IP address you copied earlier.

Submit the Settings

Submit the settings.


After submitting, your customer display should be successfully connected.
