Creating promotions is one of the best ways to add offers and deals to the system. This helps attract a large number of customers and incentivizes them to make purchases of those products. We offer multiple ways of providing offers and deals, which makes it a very dynamic and adaptive system that works according to your needs.
To Create a Promotion go to the OctoposBackOffice and click on Products followed by Promotions
Once in the Promotion Menu, Click on Create to start creating a promotions.
Fill in the required fields for creating a new promotion according to the details provided below, once all the required fields are filled, click Next to move ahead.
Promotion Fields
Name*: Enter a name for the promotions, such as B1G1 or Buy 3 Get 2 Free.
Valid From*: Write in the Date till which you want this Promotions to be running. Select Location*: Select where you want to run this promotion.
* = Required
Exclude from Additional Discount: If yes, additional item discounts will cannot be applied on items that are eligible as part of this promotions. Also, percentage order discounts will exclude this items.
Select Promotion Type and click Next
Promotion Type
Buy X, Get Y Free: Reward customers with free items when they purchase a set quantity.
Tiered Pricing : Set special prices based on the quantity purchased (e.g., 2 for $15, 4 for $30).
Discounted Price: Set a new promotional sale price for selected products.
Buy X, Get a Discount: Offer a discount (either % off or $ off) on a product when a customer buys a certain quantity.
Then select What Products Does It Apply To?
and click on save
