There are several reasons why the Receipt Printer may not work properly. One of the most common problems is a loss of connectivity between the printer and the Wi-Fi or between the printer and the POS. Other small issues include the printer being out of paper. In most cases, following the steps below should resolve the issue. If not, please feel free to contact us.
Check if the printer feed button is working.
Press the feed button the printer and printer paper should come out.
Note:
If the printer roll is empty then the Printer will not print the receipt or open the cash drawer.
Make sure the USB cable is connected to the back of the printer and the other end is connected to the Octopos Cashiers Display.
The printer is now connected.
The printer is now seamlessly integrated and fully operational with the POS system.
